Pope AAF - Role Players for SUT and OPFOR   2

Background
The 4th Contracting Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base (AFB), North Carolina, is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) for specialized role player and opposition forces (OPFOR) support to the 352d Special Warfare Training Squadron (SWTS).

This contract aims to enhance training realism during the Small Unit Tactics (SUT) and Field Training Exercise (FTX) iterations of the Combat Control and Special Reconnaissance Apprentice Courses. The 352d SWTS conducts three classes per year, each requiring extensive role player support to facilitate effective training.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personnel services necessary for specialized role player and OPFOR support.

Key tasks include:
1. Providing labor, lodging, transportation to exercise sites, supervision, and necessary supplies for SUT/FTX missions executed by Special Operation Forces (SOF) units.
2. Assisting in Full Mission Profile iterations by supplying a Contractor Planner, Role Player Manager (RPM), OPFOR personnel, and access to a simulated village.
3. Ensuring that role players simulate various roles including partner force military leaders, casualties, security forces, unarmed civilians, enemy sympathizers, etc.
4. Providing a minimum of 10 personnel as opposing forces who will utilize automatic or semi-automatic rifles with blank ammunition and Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
5. Maintaining continuous support during specified operational hours for both SUT and FTX events.
6. Submitting a comprehensive after-action report detailing performance and activities within 15 days post-exercise completion.

Place of Performance
The primary location for performance will be Fort Liberty Ranges including Camp Mackall in North Carolina. A simulated village within a 10-mile radius of Camp Mackall may also be utilized.
