PHILADELPHIA JROTC LAUNDRY AND DRY CLEANING

Background
This requirement is to provide laundry, dry cleaning, and alteration services for the Norristown High School located in Norristown, PA and the Philadelphia, PA School District JROTC Programs. The requirement is for a 12 month base period of performance with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Laundry and Dry Cleaning (L&DC) and Alteration/Repair services for the Army Combat Uniforms (ACU) and Army Service/Dress Uniform (ASU). The contractor shall launder or dry clean uniforms consistent with label instructions and DA PAM 670-1. Uniforms shall be clean per PWS 2.2.2 and dry per PWS 2.2.4.

The contractor shall process all fabrics leaving no trace of yellow or gray tints and colored fabrics shall remain bright.

Period of Performance
Base Year: 1 September 2022 – 31 August 2023 with estimated quantities of 1500 laundered items, 1000 dry cleaned items, and 1000 alterations. Option years extend from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2027.

Place of Performance
The contractor's place of business shall be located within the school district of Philadelphia within 10 miles of the Philadelphia School District Office at 440 Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA and the contractor shall be willing to travel to Norristown High School.
