THIS IS A Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government desires to procure Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant facility operation support services at Fort Drum New York, on a small business set-aside basis. We encourage all small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women- Owned Small Business concerns), to identify their capabilities of meeting the requirement. Background
The U.S. Government seeks to procure Petroleum, Oil and Lubricant (POL) facility operation support services at Fort Drum, New York. This contract is intended for small businesses across various socioeconomic categories, including 8(a), Small Disadvantaged Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns. The current need for these services is fulfilled through contract W911S2-21-D-6001.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Fort Drum's Environmental Management System (EMS) and policies. Key tasks include:

1. Sustainable Acquisitions: Use products that are energy-efficient, water-efficient, bio-based, environmentally preferable, non-ozone depleting, or made with recovered materials.

2. Wetlands Management: No unauthorized activities in wetlands; all work must be conducted from existing roadways unless unavoidable.

3. Biological Resources: Minimize disturbance to fish and wildlife; comply with Endangered Species Act requirements regarding Indiana bats and northern long-eared bats.

4. Hazardous Waste Management: Pickup hazardous waste from facilities on Fort Drum during normal business hours and document each pickup.

5. Maintenance of Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) and Aboveground Storage Tanks (ASTs): Perform minor repairs in compliance with state regulations.

6. Emergency Services: Provide emergency medical treatment as needed; fire protection services will be available on-site.
