Pest Control-FCC Petersburg

Background
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking to acquire pest control services at the Federal Correctional Complex Petersburg located in Hopewell, VA. The goal of this contract is to reduce wasted department resources and control an escalating pest problem that has not been professionally addressed in approximately three years. The pest issue has led to financial losses and potential health risks due to damage caused by pests in food service areas.

Work Details
The contractor will provide pest elimination services, including monthly inspections and treatments, with the following specifications:
- Monthly visits are required, with additional treatments as necessary.
- Areas to be treated include:
- Food Service Low: 22,696 sq ft
- Food Service Medium: 26,935 sq ft
- Food Service Camp: 14,500 sq ft
- Food Service Warehouse Low: 44,676 sq ft
- Food Service Warehouse Medium: 30,500 sq ft
- The contractor must guarantee cockroach and rodent elimination as part of the monthly cost without additional charges.
- The primary technician must live within one hour of the site and have a digital service reporting platform.
- All supplies needed for pest control will be provided by the contractor.
- The contractor must have necessary certifications for applying pest control chemicals and submit qualifications with their quote.

Period of Performance
The contract period shall consist of a 12-month base period with three optional 12-month renewal periods.
