Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Follow-On Contract   2

Background
The solicitation is for a Performance Based Logistics (PBL) Follow-On Contract to provide performance-based life cycle sustainment for the E-3G Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS), Block 40/45 Enterprise, Internet Protocol Enabled Communications (IPEC), and Secure Iridium Communications (SIC). The objective is to provide for sustainment of existing parts and new parts identified as engineering solutions for supply chain, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources & Material Shortages (DMSMS), and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability - Cost (RAM-C) issues.

Work Details
The contractor is required to recommend logical spare/repair parts sufficient to meet operability and supportability objectives, submit Provisioning Parts Data (PPD) in a format compatible with the AFMC Automated Provisioning System, deliver an Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP) Schedule, support Spares Provisioning Conference(s), provide all necessary cataloging actions and responses to Government cataloging agencies for new/previously established stock numbers, provide Initial Formal Training, over and above support that goes beyond routine mission support, transition period prior to contract termination, import/export control compliance, markings and legends compliance, safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), service summary requirements compliance, contractor performance evaluation compliance, government furnished property/services/information compliance, deliverables compliance.

The geographic locations where the contract will be performed include Tinker AFB, OK; JBER AFB, AL; Kadena AB.
