DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

INTRODUCTION

The Region Contacting Office (RCO) Parris Island is seeking parking to support New Haven and Hartford, CT. This will provide parking for seven (7) operating vehicles for the Marines working at the addresses listed below in section 6.

1. BACKGROUND

The purpose of this contract is to provide parking for the Marines working RS Hartford and RS New Haven

2. SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL TASKS

To provide personal operating vehicle parking, for the Marines working at RS New Haven and RS Hartford

2.1 Parking passes shall be for indoor parking garage with 7 days per week/24 hours per day lighting and availability/access

2.2 Parking garage shall be able to accommodate sedans and large SUV's.

2.3 Parking garage will be secure

2.4 parking garage shall be within a 600' radius of both facilities listed below in section 6

2.5 Period of performance for both locations: New Haven and Hartford

• Base Period: 1 June 2016 to 29 April 2017
• Option year 1: 30 April 2017 to 29 April 2018

3. DELIVERY

The equipment (access entry key) needs to be delivered no later than 1 June 2016.

4. GOVERNMENT-FURNISHED PROPERTY, MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT, OR INFORMATION (GFP, GFM, GFE, OR GFI)

There is no GFE involved in this installation.

8. TASKS

Request that all deliveries be scheduled at least a day prior.

2. SOLICITATION REQUIREMENTS: All offerors must comply with all requirements listed for this Request for Quote (RFQ). Failure to comply may result in disqualification.

Basis for Award and Evaluation Criteria: This requirement will be evaluated and awarded based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) process.

Technical Acceptability will be based on whether the products provided in your quote meet or exceed the minimum needs of the government.

This procurement is being conducted under FAR -- Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures

This RFQ is being solicited on an unrestricted basis under NAICS code 812930 Parking lots and Garages and the Business size standard of $35.5 MIL.
