A. Project Title: Parking Lot Repair and Concrete Pad for Center for Grain and Animal Health Research, Manhattan, Kansas. Refer to the solicitation and attachments for details.
B. Aquisition is a 100% total small business set-aside. Applicable NAICS is 237310 -Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The SBA size standard for this NAICS is $45.0M.
C. IAW FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
D. Vendors shall complete blocks 14, 15, 17 (if applicable), 19 (if any amendments sent), and 20 A-C of the 1442.
E. Vendors are required to be in an 'Active' status in SAM.gov at time of proposal submission IAW FAR 52.204-7.

F. Questions are due by 1 pm. Central, on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Questions received after that date and time may not be answered.

Background
The USDA Center for Grain and Animal Health Research (CGAHR) in Manhattan, Kansas, is issuing a contract for the Parking Lot Repair and Concrete Pad Construction Project. The goal of this contract is to repair the parking lot surfaces and construct concrete pads to support specific installations, ensuring the facility meets operational needs.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
1. Clean and reseal surface cracks in all parking lot surfaces.
2. Repair three damaged areas in the west parking lot.
3. Build a concrete pad for a liquid nitrogen tank.
4. Install a concrete pad that will support a 7-foot long in-ground mounted bike rack, providing a flat surface for securing bikes.
