Project work consists of maintenance dredging Palm Beach Harbor within the Entrance Channel, Settling Basin, Extended Settling Basin, and the southern portion of the Expanded Settling Basin. All material is to be placed in the Beach Placement Area located immediately south of the inlet from November 1 through April 30. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to turbidity monitoring, screening, tilling, vibration control and monitoring, and environmental species monitoring. Project work consists of a base and three options. Coast Guard Certified dredging equipment is required.
Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, is issuing this solicitation for maintenance dredging at Palm Beach Harbor, located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The primary goal of this contract is to maintain navigational depths within the harbor by removing sediment from the Entrance Channel and Settling Basin areas. The work will also support environmental monitoring efforts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Work Details
The project includes maintenance dredging of Palm Beach Harbor within the Entrance Channel, Settling Basin, Extended Settling Basin, and the southern portion of the Expanded Settling Basin. All dredged material will be placed in the Beach Placement Area located immediately south of the inlet from November 1 through April 30.

Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, screening, tilling, vibration control and monitoring, and environmental species monitoring. The contract consists of a base bid and three options:
- Base tasks include mobilization and demobilization, excavation (unclassified), screening, turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, standby time, beach tilling, blending of noncompliant material, transportation and disposal of unacceptable material, vibration control and monitoring, and partnering regroup.
- Option A includes additional excavation and screening tasks similar to the base.
- Option B includes further excavation and screening tasks with varying quantities.
- Option C continues with excavation and screening tasks as well as environmental monitoring.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a specified period from November 1 through April 30 each year for the duration of the contract.
