This procurement is a one time purchase order set-aside for small business under NAICS 493110. This will be a firm fixed price order.

This requirement is for a Pallet Rack System for a 90' L side x 80' W front warehouse, 7,200 square feet of open floor space inside, no columns in the middle. Delivery and installation will be to Military Sea Lift Command, San Diego, CA 92123. Complete and accurate addresses will be provided on the purchase order subsequent to award. This order is FOB destination.

Award is subject to the terms and condition of this combined synopsis/solicitation.

The rack system shall consist of the following:

Six (6) rows of pallet rack system.

The rows shall run parallel, but not against the 90' wall.

The six rows shall be grouped by two rows, back to back with 6 inch spacers for a total of 3 double row groups.

Each group requires at least an 149 inch aisle between the rows.

Each row shall have 9 uprights including front and back and cross beam supports. Each upright shall be bolted to the floor.

The uprights shall be 192 inches green roll form frame 14 gauge or better.

There shall be 4 levels of shelving.

Each row shall have 32 shelves.

The shelves shall have an opening of 108 inches as one solid beam, 16 gauge or better.

Each shelf shall be 108 inches wide by 49 inches high by 48 inches deep.

Each shelf shall have a minimum weight capacity of 5,000 pounds.

All second level shelves shall have smooth weld forged steel grating or equal.

All third and fourth levels shall have wire mesh decking or better.

The third and fourth levels shall have support under the wire mesh deck perpendicular to the 108" beam, minimum of one (1) support approximately center under each pallet position for 2 per level.

The first level shall be the concrete floor.

The entire pallet rack system shall have capacity of at least 384 pallets.

The pallet rack system shall be delivered, assembled, and properly installed/secured to the warehouse described above. The warehouse floor is 8 inch reinforced concrete.

Delivery and installation is required 14 weeks After Receipt of Order (ARO)

The award will be conducted based on the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA).

Proposals must include a drawing or image to illustrate the layout and measurements of the rack system, no format required.

Proposal must also include a bill of materials or item specification sheet that itemizes each component of the rack system by part number, description, and quantity. All materials must be new, not used or refurbished.

The drawing and bill of materials will be technically evaluated to determine that the proposed solution meets the requirements described herein.

Past performance evaluation will be performed as part of a responsibility determination. Items are subject to review by the Contract Specialist and the customer prior to award.

Individuals shall have US citizenship for entry to the warehouse.

Quotes shall remain valid for at least 30 days from the date of deadline submission.

Government Furnished Equipment/Property will not be provided.

Vendor must acknowledge, mark order as shipped, and provide tracking information through Vendor Portal or EDI.
