Background
This contract action is initiated by the agency to secure temporary housing solutions for individuals affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The contract is specifically for the monthly lease of two Travel Trailer lots at Citrus River Village 2, located in Inglis, Florida.

The goal is to provide immediate assistance to disaster survivors as part of the Direct Housing Assistance Program established under the Stafford Act, which allows for a maximum duration of 18 months from the date of presidential disaster declarations.

Work Details
The contractor will provide two Travel Trailer lots at Citrus River Village 2 for the purpose of placing temporary housing units. This contract is a sole source justification due to the limited availability of suitable locations and the urgent need for housing following the hurricanes.

The contract will be a Fixed Firm Price agreement with an initial base period of three months, with options to extend for five additional three-month periods, totaling an anticipated performance period of 18 months. The funding for this contract will come from Disaster Relief Funds allocated for fiscal years 2025 and 2026.
