The requirement will be solicited utilizing Small Business concerns. NAICS Code 488991, Packing and Crating, with a size standard of $27.5 Million will be utilized to determine business size in regards to subcontracting requirements.

Period of Performance for the resulting contract will be approximately 60 months. The IFB will be available for downloading at the Government Point of Entry (GPE) website at https://www.fedbizopps.gov/.Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the IFB package and any amendments.

All bidders must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) per FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. Bidders must also complete Offeror Representations and Certifications on-line athttps://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a bid. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored.

Description:

To provide Packing and Crating Support Services for the Inbound Area 2 shipment of domestic household goods, international-household goods, and unaccompanied baggage shipments. Service must include drayage from contractor's facility to storage warehouses, air and surface transportation terminals, military installation shipping offices and ocean or river terminals/piers and return, unloading from the delivering carrier's vehicle, handling into contractor's facility, drayage to member's/employee's residence, decontainerization and unpacking of loaded containers of HHG and placing goods in rooms as directed by member/employee, unservicing appliances, assembly of any disassembled articles and removing shipping containers, barrels, boxes/crates, and debris from member's/employee's residence and drayage of empty containers to contractor's or Government facility.

AREA 1:

Bladen, Cumberland, Harnett, Hoke, Lee, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson and Scotland, each located in the State of North Carolina.

AREA 2:

Alamance, Alexander, Allegheny, Anson, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Caswell, Catawba, Chatham, Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Davidson, Davie, Forsythe, Gaston, Graham, Guilford, Haywood, Henderson, Iredell, Jackson, Lincoln, Macon, Madison, Mecklenburg, McDowell, Mitchell, Montgomery, Polk, Randolph, Rockingham, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanley, Strokes, Surry, Swain, Transylvania, Union, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin and Yancy, each located in the State of North Carolina.
