Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source contract to The Boeing Company for the procurement of three CPs: Fuel System Aux Drain Fitting Replacement, Double Walled Alodine Fuel Tubes, and Tailcone Fastener and Drainage Revision.

NAVAIR intends to negotiate and award the contract utilizing other than full and open competition pursuant to the authority at FAR 6.3032-1 "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements".

This effort will consist of the procurement of kits, Technical Publication updates, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Technical Directive (TD) development for: FWD Drain Fitting Kit, AFT Drain Fitting Kit, Alodine Auxiliary Tubing Refuel Kit, Alodine Tubing Fuel Vent Transfer Kit, Tailcone Collar and Drain Kit, and Tailcone Drain Kit.

The period of performance of this effort is anticipated from contract award through July 2021.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not consider any information submitted by interested parties in response to this Presolicitation notice.
