Background
The project is initiated by the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) in Cherry Point, North Carolina, with the goal of constructing a maintenance facility and Marine Air Group Headquarters. This facility aims to support the operational readiness of the Marine Corps by providing essential maintenance and administrative spaces. The contract encompasses the design and construction of various components including an engine maintenance shop, headquarters administration facility, and site improvements.

Work Details
The scope of work includes:
- Construction of an aircraft engine maintenance shop featuring maintenance areas, storage areas, administrative space, personnel support spaces, hazardous material storage areas, and secure working areas.
- Construction of a headquarters building that includes spaces for administration, support, training, and secure working areas.
- Renovation of existing shop facilities to meet new requirements and provide additional administrative space.
- Addition of new shop spaces to enhance operational capacity.
- Site improvements involving reconfiguration and upgrades to an existing support van pad along with upgrades to underground electrical distribution systems.
- Demolition of three existing buildings as part of site preparation.
