Background
The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service (GPAIHS) is planning to solicit a Firm-Fixed Price, Non-Personal Service Type Contract to provide Outpatient Midlevel Provider Services for the Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center located in Sisseton, South Dakota.
This initiative aims to ensure the availability of healthcare services on the Lake Traverse Reservation.

Work Details
The primary objective is to provide uninterrupted Outpatient Midlevel Provider services for the Outpatient Department (OPD) at WWKMHCC with up to two Contract Providers.
The Contract Providers will perform primary care services compatible with the IHS medical facility's operating capacity and equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality and efficient care to patients, examining and diagnosing health-related conditions of patients of all ages, with an average of 16 patients seen per day.
- Referring individuals for consultation when appropriate and prescribing therapies as recommended by specialists.
- Participating in the Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model and encouraging patient engagement.
- Educating individuals about health-related conditions, recommended therapies, and promoting health and disease prevention.
- Utilizing EHR software for entering medical orders and documenting consultations in patient records.
- Establishing interpersonal relationships with patients from Native American communities to enhance optimal patient care while maintaining professional conduct and respecting patient rights.

Period of Performance
Base Year: April 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026; Option Year One: April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027; Option Year Two: April 1, 2027 through March 31, 2028; Option Year Three: April 1, 2028 through March 31, 2029; Option Year Four: April 1, 2029 through March 31, 2030.
