OSP Fiber Optic Cable Upgrade   3

Background
The solicitation is for the engineering, installation, and testing of single mode Fiber Optic Cables (FOC) to multiple Critical End Buildings on Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (SFS). The work includes providing all equipment, tools, materials, supplies, transportation, labor, supervision, management, and other incidentals necessary to meet the requirement stated in the Statement of Work (SOW). The work will be performed at a secure facility where Contractor employees must have a minimum of a SECRET clearance. The Contractor is required to comply with environmental federal, state, and local laws and regulations; Air Force policies, instructions, and plans. Additionally, the Contractor shall chair a weekly Integrated Process Team (IPT) meeting and provide Quality Assurance Support for the life of the project.

Work Details
The specific requirements include engineering, furnishing, installation and testing of one 36-strand single mode (SM) fiber optic cable from ITB 3000 to ITB 2000 and one each 12-strand SM FOC from ITB 3000 to Critical End Buildings (CEBs) 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000, 9000, 10000, and 11000. The Contractor shall complete and process all permits required to complete the installation prior to any trenching or modifications to a facility. The Contractor shall also provide a Project Manager (PM) and alternate(s) responsible for contract performance and continuity. Additionally, the contractor shall report ALL contractor labor hours required for performance of services provided under this contract for Cheyenne Mountain SFS via a secure data collection site.

The construction projects will be performed at Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (SFS).
