Optical Character Recognition (OCR) Software Solution

Background
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) processes a large volume of accounts payable invoices and aims to enhance its efficiency through the integration of Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.

The goal of this contract is to identify qualified OCR technology companies capable of integrating with Oracle EBS R12 to improve existing accounts payable processes at NREL.

Work Details
The selected contractor will be responsible for providing an OCR software solution that includes the following tasks:
1. Integration with Oracle EBS R12 for reliable invoice data extraction.
2. Development of a user-friendly interface with intuitive configuration options for non-technical users.
3. Ensuring data security and compliance with regulations such as GDPR.
4. Providing ongoing support and maintenance services for the OCR technology.
5. Evaluating the total cost of ownership, including licensing, implementation, and ongoing expenses.

Period of Performance
The project is anticipated to have a base period of performance totaling twelve (12) months, plus four one-year option periods, totaling a maximum of sixty (60) months if all options are exercised.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), South Table Mountain Campus, located at 15013 Denver West Parkway, Golden, CO 80401.
