Operational Assessment (Mock Survey) for the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH)

THIS IS A NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
In pursuant to FAR 5.203(a), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate (WHS/AD), on behalf of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Joint Commission Resources, Inc. (JCR), 1515 W. 22nd St, Ste. 1300W, Oak Brook, Illinois 60523.The anticipated period of performance shall be for one year.
The anticipated award will be made under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contract Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name or industrial mobilization. "The contract is to provide an Operational Assessment (Mock Survey) in accordance with the current Joint Commission, for Ambulatory Care, Home Care, Nursing Care services to the Armed Forces Retirement Home, to meet mission and business requirements.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541611 - Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services with the size standard of $15 million. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
