Office of Naval Research One Liberty Center Wi-Fi Service

Background
The Office of Naval Research (ONR) supports science and technology innovation by funding and providing collaborative areas for authorized experts inside and outside the Department of the Navy (DoN) to present research, discoveries, developmental schedules, and processes. The goal is to enable review, discussion, and the merging of ideas necessary to provide solutions to technical issues faced by the Department of the Navy.

Work Details
The acquisition aims to implement a guest Wi-Fi solution in the ONR OLC building at 875 N Randolph Street, Arlington, VA. The contractor is required to provide a minimum 1GB internet connection, backhaul network services for DAS, Wi-Fi connection for GFE & Non-GFE devices; use circuits for DAS (Distributed Antenna System) for internet access, setup switches/Wi-Fi Router on multiple floors to provide internet access via Access Point (AP) system, provide internet service when service is not available via Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Additionally, the contractor shall conduct a site survey of the ONR OLC building if required, provide design and engineering services including location identification of routers, switches, wireless access points, and other equipment, wireless design diagram, topology diagram, Radio Frequency (RF) Spectrum Analysis, documentation showing Access Point placement, and RF Coverage Model showing strength of RF signal. The contractor shall also provide cabling and wiring services as well as Ethernet and Wi-Fi provisioning. Furthermore, they are responsible for implementation, management, and maintenance of the Wi-Fi solution within the Authorization Boundary defined by ONR. The contractor shall also provide monitoring and reporting capability as well as personnel with Secret Security Clearance for privileged network access.

Period of Performance
The Period of Performance for this requirement shall be a One (1)-year base period with four one (1)-year option periods. The base period is one year with four one-year options.

The contract will be performed at the ONR OLC building located at 875 N Randolph Street, Arlington, VA.
