Ocean Engineering Support Services Multiple Award Contract (MAC)   2

Background
The contract involves providing ocean engineering services in support of projects involving ocean cable systems, ocean work systems, waterfront facilities, offshore structures, moorings, and ocean construction equipment. The work will be performed in environments ranging from arctic to tropic and at all water depths where construction, installation, maintenance, inspection, repair, and salvage operations may be needed to support Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center customers.

Work Details
The contract includes a Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Combination Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)/Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. It is a 100% set-aside for small businesses. The total value of all orders awarded under this contract is not to exceed $180,000,000.00 for the base ordering period, ordering periods 1 through 4 and the 6 month option period. The estimated volume of work per year for each ordering period is specified. Additionally, the contract includes minimum and maximum quantity and contract value for all orders issued against this contract.

Period of Performance
The resulting Cost-Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Contract will include a Base Ordering Period of 60 months. Each task order will specify the period of performance applicable.

Place of Performance
The work to be ordered under this contract will be performed at various sites within and outside the United States and its territories. The exact locations of individual efforts will be designated on each task order issued under this contract.
