Description

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a brand-name requirement for Nvidia SuperPod and Vast Storage for Research, Applied Analytics, and Statistics (RAAS) Compliance Data Warehouse (CDW). Nvidia SuperPod is a critical component of this infrastructure, providing the necessary compute power, storage, and networking capabilities to support the development and deployment of large-scale ML models. Further, we require appropriate storage to handle data and results. The equipment & services described shall be in accordance with the IRS Statement of Work entitled, Nvidia SuperPod VAST 2025 SOW Draft.

RFQ 2032H8-25-Q-00007 will be available early March and will be distributed solely through NASA SEWP Group C small business set-aside. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through NASA SEWP web portal. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring that site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date of 2032H8-25-Q-00007 will be mid or end of March. No telephone requests, written requests, or questions for/about this solicitation will be accepted outside of NASA SEWP.

Background
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is acquiring a Nvidia SuperPod and Vast Storage to enhance its Research, Applied Analytics, and Statistics (RAAS) Compliance Data Warehouse (CDW).

This acquisition supports the IRS's strategy for data and analytics, enabling advanced technologies such as deep learning and natural language processing. The CDW is designed for longitudinal analysis and specialized modeling, facilitating research that drives insights into taxpayer behavior and improves operational efficiency.

Work Details
The contract includes the purchase of the following items:

1. **Nvidia SuperPod Bundle**:
- 31 Nvidia DGXB-G1440+P2CMI60 DGX B200 P4387 System 1440GB Full, 5 Year
- 31 Comprehensive Media retention service, 5 yr
- 248 Nvidia AI Enterprise Essentials Subscription per GPU, 5 Year Std Support
- 248 RUN.AI Advanced Cluster Management SW Subscription per GPU, 5 Year Std Support
- 1 VASTDATA VAST-8XSTORAGE-ENDPOINT-60M (Usable PB 2.39), 5 yr
- Additional components including cables, switches, transceivers, and support services.

2. **VAST Storage Components**:
- 4 Ceres Enclosures with NVMe Flash storage.
- 8 Single Server Chassis with secure boot enabled.
- Fiber optic cables and SFPs for CERES D-Boxes.
- Installation services and training for users.

3. **Optional Item**: Upgrade NVIDIA SuperPOD DGX's to 4TB memory modules.

Period of Performance
Delivery of equipment is expected within 60 days after receipt of order (ARO). Services will have a one-year period of performance.

Place of Performance
The equipment will be delivered to the Enterprise Computing Center - Martinsburg located at 250 Murall Dr., Kearneysville, WV 25430.
