Background
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Stillwater National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) Complex, has a requirement to resurface Navy Cabin Road from west end of Hunter Road progressing east until contracted amount of material is delivered. The road will be a maximum 24-foot-wide roadway constructed of a 6-inch lift gravel surface. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items for the delivery of approximately 16,000 tons of Type 2 Class B base course material.

Work Details
The contract requires the delivery of approximately 16,000 tons of Type 2 Class B base course material. The delivery period is from August 1, 2023, to October 30, 2023. Deliveries are to be Tuesday through Friday, except Federal holidays. Delivery time is to be from 07:00 to 15:00. Deliveries are to be staggered throughout the day with a minimum interval between loads of 15 minutes and a maximum interval between loads not exceeding 30 minutes. Minimum deliveries per day are to be 580 cubic yards.
