Background
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) is seeking a Design Bid Build Construction Contract for HVAC Upgrades and Retro-Commissioning for Building 990 at Naval Station Newport, Rhode Island. The contractor is required to provide all material, labor, transportation, tools, equipment, management, supervision, and quality control necessary for the repair, replacement, and upgrades of current HVAC systems to Building 990 and incidental related work.

Work Details
The project involves a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning repair project. The work will require coordinated mechanical/architectural multi-trade work occurring concurrently on different levels of the building and building grade perimeter and require independent trade mobilizations; preparing above-ceiling areas and architectural restorations of those areas simultaneously.

The construction projects will be performed at Naval Station Newport, Newport, Rhode Island.
