NSIR Cyber Security Regulatory Program Development and Support

The contractor shall support the NRC in implementing cyber security regulations for all NRC licensees, applicants and certificate holders, including licensing and oversight activities. NRC cyber security regulations include but are not limited to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR), Section 73.54, "Protection of digital computer and communication systems and networks," which requires, in part, that nuclear power plant licensees and new reactor applicants provide high assurance that digital computer and communication systems and networks are adequately protected against cyber-attacks. The contractor shall also support the NRC with regulatory activities associated with the Cyber Security Roadmap (SECY-12-0088), which communicates the staff's approach for evaluating the need for cyber security requirements for fuel cycle facilities, non-power reactors, independent spent fuel storage installations (ISFSIs), and by-product material licensees.
