NSF is seeking support for its development of the FY 2026-2030 Strategic Plan and Learning Agenda, particularly in performing an environmental scan and in engaging NSF communities to provide input to the plan.

NSF's strategic plan process begins with an assessment of the current operating environment and identification of opportunities and risks in that environment in the years to come. NSF's environmental scan for the FY 2026-2030 Strategic Plan will help identify opportunities to advance the agency's mission of scientific discovery in key areas, and train the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Amendment 0001 - The date for quotations is extended until August 5, 2024. This amendment corrects erroneous inclusions in the contract clauses and statement of work, and provides questions and answers in a consolidated, anonymized format. See attached for further information.

Background
The National Science Foundation (NSF) is seeking support for the development of its FY 2022-2026 Strategic Plan and Learning Agenda. The strategic plan process involves assessing the current operating environment, identifying opportunities and risks for scientific discovery and training the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Work Details
The work includes performing an environmental scan and engaging NSF communities to provide input to the plan.
The expected period of performance will be 12 months, with an additional 3-month optional quantity to allow for extended support if needed. The contract includes labor, travel, and security requirements as well as technical approach and price quotation volumes.
