Notification of the SEC's Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order to Politico, LLC

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a fixed-price purchase order on a sole source basis to Politico, LLC, 1000 Wilson Blvd, 8th Floor, Arlington, VA 22209-3927 for access to Politico Pro US and Politico Pro EU. The NAICS code is 519130. The contracting officer has determined that Politico,LLC is the only source that can reasonably meet the SEC's requirement in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) Sole Source Acquisitions. A Politico Pro subscription contains sector-specific coverage, briefings, coverage of events, and newsletters as required by the SEC that are not available on other sites or from other sources. The uniqueness of the information, combined with the copyright protection, makes Politico the only known source.

The period of performance for the purchase order is anticipated to be one (1) base period with four (4) one (1) year periods.

The SEC intends to award a purchase order to Politico on or about July 6, 2022. This notice is not a competitive request for proposals. A competitive solicitation will not be issued. However, the government will give consideration to interested parties that identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals by the response date of this notice.
