NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE maintenance contract for the Vanquish (LC) – Q Exactive Plus (MS) LCMS instrument   2

Background
The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Office of Acquisitions (OA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to THERMO ELECTRON NORTH AMERICA LLC for a maintenance contract for the Vanquish (LC) – Q Exactive Plus (MS) LCMS instrument. The contract is for the acquisition of services for routine maintenance and timely repair of the mentioned instruments. The period of performance for this contract is from September 30, 2024, through September 29, 2027.

Work Details
This maintenance contract is intended to keep the LCMS system in full working order at instrument manufacturer specifications. It includes routine maintenance and timely repair in case of malfunction for the following instruments: - Q Exactive Plus Mass Spectrometer SN03655L - Vanquish Binary Pump H SN:8301638 - Vanquish Split Sampler HT SN: 8301691 - Vanquish Column Compartment H SN: 6300623. The contract action is being conducted under the authority and procedures of 41 U.S.C. 1901, and NIEHS will solicit and negotiate directly with THERMO ELECTRON NORTH AMERICA LLC without issuing a formal solicitation.
