Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Drawsheets

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing's (BEP) Office of the Chief Procurement Officer, on behalf of its Material Technical Contracts Division, intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite quantity contract for Elastomeric-Coated Fabric Blankets (Drawsheets). The intended contractor is I.T.G. Gmbh Graphic Products, Dachauer Str. 201, Muenchen, Bayern, 80637, DE. The Government has prepared a sole source justification in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.106(b)(2). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326299 and PSC code is 9390.

The BEP requires drawsheets that are used as an outer covering on impression cylinders of high-speed, sheet-fed rotary I-10 and Super Orlof intaglio presses. These blankets are used in the manufacture of United States paper currency at the BEP.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any interested party that believes it can meet the BEP's requirement for drawsheets, described herein, may identify themselves and provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement. All responses received in writing by April 14, 2023, will be considered by the Government. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly be able to provide the item outlined in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
