Notice of Intent - Remanufacturer of Grenade Launcher Sight SU-277/PSQ

The Marine Depot Maintenance Command has a requirement for the purchase of remanufacture of the Grenade Launcher Sight (GLS) SU-277/PSQ National Stock Number 1240-01-619-2962 in accordance with the Statement of Work / Performance Work Statement. Base and two one-year ordering periods. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code assigned is 333314 -Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing. No solicitation will be posted on this website for this requirement. A Justification and Approval document is attached to this notice. Any potential source may contact the persons indicated above to discuss their ability to offer the required services for future acquisitions.

Basis for Award: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation on a sole source basis to L-3 Communications Corporation, Insight Technology Division. after review of responsibility and a fair and reasonable pricing determination.

Award Procedures The Government will award a firm-fixed-price contract for these non-commercial items utilizing procedures authorized under FAR subpart 13.
