Notice of Intent - Physics Lab (MSETS Electronic Lab)

Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District intends to place brand name specifications in new construction and sustainment, restoration, and modernization projects at Redstone Arsenal, AL. Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all information received within 15 days after publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to include these proposed brand name specifications based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Work Details
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, anticipates several Firm-Fixed-Price, Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build constructions contracts utilizing Military Construction (MILCON), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), and SRM funding during Fiscal Year 2024 through 2025 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The projects include Lockmasters High Security Type II Pedestrian Door Preassembled Locks (PDPL) and Simplex Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) systems.
The Lockmasters PDPLs must meet federal specification FF-L-2890C and be a single motion lever or rim exit lock with combination lock, while the Simplex FACP equipment includes 4100ES Fire Alarm/Mass Notification Main Control Panel, Amplifier Panels, and Notifier Extender Panels. These brand name specifications are essential to meeting the government's requirements for various projects within the Redstone Arsenal area.
