Northern Research Station- Hubbard Brook Pierce Lab Roof Replacement

Background
The NRS Hubbard Brook Pierce Lab Roof Replacement project is being conducted by the USDA Forest Service, Northern Research Station. The project involves the removal and replacement of approximately 5,400 square feet of existing asphalt shingles, underlayment, flashings, drip edge, and fasteners on the Pierce Lab building. Additionally, there is a bid option for the replacement and installation of a new roofing system on the fuel shed. The Hubbard Brook Facility is located at 234 Mirror Lake Rd, North Woodstock, NH 03262.

Work Details
The scope of work includes mobilization/demobilization of equipment required for work, removal/disposal of existing Pierce Lab roof, installation of new Pierce Lab roof, flashings, and underlayment. There is also an option for the removal/disposal and installation of a new roofing system on the fuel shed as well as an option for replacement of damaged sheathing if discovered after roof removal. The technical requirements include experience in roofing with a minimum of 5 years of roofing construction experience and being licensed in the state of New Hampshire.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from August 1, 2024 to September 3, 2024.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Hubbard Brook Facility located at 234 Mirror Lake Rd, North Woodstock, NH 03262.
