Next Generation Ejection Seat

Background
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Human Systems Division (AFLCMC/WNU) is conducting a market assessment to identify potential sources and companies with expertise in Ejection Seats to meet Air Force requirements.

This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) aims to explore cost-effective options for providing this capability and to gather feedback on the attached System Requirements Document (SRD). The goal is to assess the current market landscape and determine the appropriate acquisition strategy, which may include full-and-open competition or small business set-asides.

Work Details
The contract pertains to the Next Generation Ejection Seat (NGES) designed for integration with the Crew Ejection Seat Escape System (CESES) on the F-15, F-16, F-22, and B-1 aircraft.

The Government seeks information on vendors capable of providing an ejection seat that meets safety and sustainment requirements with minimal modifications to existing systems. Respondents are requested to provide feedback on their ability to meet the requirements outlined in the SRD, including:
1. Ability to meet each requirement without further development of their seat.
2. A list of requirements that cannot currently be met.
3. An anticipated schedule for installation across different Mission Design Series (MDS).
