Background
The solicitation is for the NEXGEN Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform (MCCUU) Cut and Sew. The purpose of this amendment is to update the deadline for quote submission, update the point of contact information, list reference documents, and incorporate a file titled 'M67854-23-C-1048 Questions and Answers'. The Defense Appropriations and Authorizations Acts and other Statutes impose restrictions on the DOD’s acquisition of foreign products and services, requiring a preference for certain domestic commodities.

Work Details
The contract requires the production of NexGen MCCUU uniforms, consisting of blouses and trousers with specific quantities ranging from 100 to 810 units. The uniforms are to be flame-resistant with Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) camouflage and improvements in breathability, comfort, and durability. The vendor will be required to use owned design and patterns of the Marine Corps Tropical Combat Uniform (MCTCU) to cut and sew the government furnished materials (GFM) fabrics into blouses and trousers. The vendor is expected to provide a minimum of one and up to six different fabrics as GFM. Each GFM fabric type yardage will be between 500 and 700 linear yards. The vendor will be required to hold back twenty-five yards of each GFM fabric variant for subsequent government test and evaluation.
The delivery timeline, production plan, quality of work based on Product Demonstration Model (PDM), past performance, and price will be evaluated for award selection.
