Background
The Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital (BDAACH), part of the U.S. Army Medical Department Activity in Korea (USAMEDDAC-Korea), is seeking to contract for newborn screening testing services.

The mission of the military healthcare system is to ensure a healthy military force supported by a combat-ready healthcare system, providing essential health services to eligible beneficiaries at military treatment facilities (MTFs). BDAACH serves as a central hospital for multiple clinics across the Korea Peninsula, offering a range of medical services including inpatient care and specialized outpatient clinics.

Work Details
The contractor will provide non-personal newborn screening testing services for the Department of Pathology at BDAACH. This includes:
1. Providing all personnel, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary for the performance of newborn screening testing services.
2. Compliance with established standards and regulations including those set by The Joint Commission (JC) and the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
3. Ensuring that all test results are available via a secured web-based application within specified turnaround times.
4. Providing both First and Second Screen costs as an all-inclusive unit price, without separate invoicing for the Second Screen.
5. Adhering to quality assurance requirements and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.

Period of Performance
Base Period: 29 September 2024 – 28 September 2025; with four optional periods extending annually until 28 September 2029.
