New Holland Tractor Repair

Background
The 45 Contracting Squadron at Patrick Space Force Base is seeking a contractor to repair a New Holland TS6.110 tractor. The mission of the squadron includes ensuring that equipment is maintained and operational for various tasks. The goal of this contract is to restore the tractor's functionality by addressing specific mechanical issues using OEM parts and trained personnel.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision to repair the New Holland TS6.110’s emission system, fix the power take-off mechanism, replace transmission shuttle cable, install new speed control cables, install new high/low range cables, install new cables for remote system, and service the tractor as stated in the manufacturer's maintenance manual using only OEM parts.

Specific tasks include:
1. Repair faulty emissions using OEM parts approved by the manufacturer.
2. Repair and test power take-off mechanism to ensure auxiliary power delivery for tow-behind flex wing rotary cutters (industrial mowers).
3. Install and function test new transmission shuttle cable for operability.
4. Install and test new function cables to ensure positive control of equipment attachments from operator seat.
5. Install and test new cables for high/low range travel function of farm tractor.
6. Install and test new cables for remote systems.

Transportation of the tractor will be at the contractor's expense.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the repair and service work shall not exceed 30 calendar days.

Place of Performance
Repairs can be performed at Patrick Space Force Base or at the contractor's facility.
