NDF Project Information Management System (PIMS)   3

Background
The Nonproliferation and Disarmament Fund (NDF) seeks to provide for the continued maintenance and operation of its Project Information Management System (PIMS). PIMS provides NDF the capability to maintain a proper database of information to correlate with the Department’s Global Financial Management System (GFMS) and the necessary technology needed for continued success in the fulfillment of the NDF’s mission.
PIMS was developed for the NDF to track funding and acquire additional reporting capabilities that are not available in the Department of State’s GFMS system. PIMS is a Software as a service (SaaS) application, which runs on the cloud-based Salesforce platform. Access to PIMS is available 24 hours per day year-round from any location with an internet connection. It is a custom application, which was designed to provide project and financial information to NDF Management, Project Managers, Contracting Team, and Finance Team. PIMS is a reporting, record-keeping tool used for efficient storage of project and financial records.

Work Details
The purpose of this procurement is to obtain information technology maintenance and support services for continued operation of the NDF’s PIMS. The objective is to acquire subject matter experts (SMEs) with knowledge, skills, abilities, and background in the force.com platform, Salesforce’s platform for building and running business applications in the cloud.
The contractor shall perform tasks including Salesforce Application Operations and Maintenance Support, Training, Financial Reconciliation Support, and updating the PIMS Application Solution Overview Document. The operations and maintenance (O&M) portion of the contract is divided into two Tier Level Triage Teams: NDF Support Staff members responsible for management of incoming task requests from users by reviewing and updating relevant information; Contractor Project led technical team member(s) reviews and approves changes to applicable applications/systems as it pertains to changes that might affect organization level functionality.

Period of Performance
The Period of performance of this contract is: Base Year: September 30, 2023 through September 29, 2024; Option Year 1: September 30, 2024 through September 29, 2025; Option Year 2: September 30, 2025 through September 29, 2026; Option Year 3: September 30, 2026 through September 29, 2027

Place of Performance
Work will be performed remotely and at the DOS Harry S. Truman building in Washington, D.C. Salesforce.com is a cloud-based application.
