Description

NCIS requires the procurement of Ballistic and Tactical gear in support of NCIS Special Agent Corps. The Ballistic and Tactical gear must be designed and used specifically for safety and protection, and serve the purpose of keeping law enforcement, military personnel, and first responders safe. The gear will include boots, vests, and other items of clothing, as well as high tech equipment such as night vision goggles and sophisticated communication devices. The equipment is required on an as-needed, intermittent basis. See attached Sources Sought Announcement for more detailed information.

Background
NCIS directly contributes to the operational readiness of the Department of the Navy (DON) by identifying and neutralizing criminal threats impacting DON-affiliated personnel, assets, installations, and acquisition in all domains around the globe. Additionally, based on the manner in which foreign intelligence entities target the DON, there are times that criminal investigations will address National Security Directorate priorities. Together, these efforts directly impact the DON’s ability to maintain a technologically superior and ready force.

Work Details
