Navsea Hq Small Business Industry Day

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is pleased to announce its 2023 Small Business Industry Day (SBID) to be hosted, Thursday, 26 October 2023 from 8:00a.m. EST to 4:00p.m. EST. This year's theme is Harnessing the Power of the Small Business Industrial Base .

EVENT LOCATION: CACI, Maritime Plaza 1, Room 440, 1201 M Street SE, Washington, DC 20003

BACKGROUND: NAVSEA is the largest of the Navy's five system commands. With annual contract obligations over $32 billion, NAVSEA accounts for one quarter of the Navy's procurement spend. The NAVSEA SBID will provide a targeted forum for interested small businesses to hear from senior Navy leadership, Program Executive Offices (PEO's) and Directorates about various NAVSEA programs, facilitating an enhanced understanding of NAVSEA's programs and strategic direction and providing for prime and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses.

RESOURCES: The NAVSEA SBID will provide a targeted forum for interested small businesses to hear from senior NAVSEA leadership, PEO's and Directorates on various NAVSEA programs. The intent of these briefings is to create an enhanced understanding of NAVSEA's programs and the strategic direction that provide prime and subcontracting opportunities for small businesses.

Forum presentations will be available after the event on the NAVSEA website under the Business Partnership section at https://www.navsea.navy.mil/Business-Partnerships/Small-Business-Office/. Please note that this website also provides other resources relevant to small businesses that include an updated version of NAVSEA's Long Range Acquisition Estimate (LRAE).

REGISTRATION: Interested parties must register directly at https://NAVSEA_SBID_2023.eventbrite.com. Provide the company name and socio-economic status and primary industry.

Tickets are not transferrable and will be required in order to gain access to the facility and the event.

3. Attendance is limited and will only be available through the above registration site on a first-come, first-serve basis. Early registration is required. Walk-on guests will NOT be granted access to the event.
