National Establishment Time-Series Database Licenses

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Economic Research Service (ERS), offers a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to Walls & Associates. This procurement is being conducted under FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Walls & Associates is the only known source that provides access to the National Establishment Time-Series (NETS) database. These licenses offer National Database delivery that includes over 60 million records in SQL Server format. The NETS converts Dun and Bradstreet (D&B) archival establishment data into a time-series database of establishment information. The NETS Database provides longitudinal data on various dynamics of the U.S. economy that include establishment job creation and destruction, sales growth performance, survivability of business start-ups, mobility patterns, changes in primary markets, corporate affiliations, and historical D&B credit and payment ratings.
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Vendors that believe they can provide the services listed above are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact. Information recieved will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
