National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC IV)   3

This announcement is being made by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to:

1. Recreate in beta.SAM the Solicitation (SIR No. 693KA9-20-R-00005) that was posted on FAACO (Federal Aviation Administration Contract Opportunities) on December 20, 2019, which remains active as of the date of this posting.
2. Post the FAA's responses to Industry Comments (as defined in such SIR) received from interested parties as of the due date stated in the SIR.

Accordingly, for Item 1, the following is the description of the SIR as posted on FAACO:

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) hereby announces a follow-on procurement to the National Airspace System (NAS) Integration Support Contract (NISC III), herein referred to as NISC IV. The NISC IV contract will provide critical support to a wide range of FAA organizations that support the existing NAS, as well as those organizations tasked with the planning, development, integration and implementation of NAS modernization programs.

The purpose of this posting is to inform industry of the contract opportunity and request responses to the attached final SIR. Interested vendors must respond in accordance with Section L of the final SIR.

Interested vendors may submit questions, comments, and requests for clarification in accordance with Subsection L.5.5 of Section L and must do so by January 17, 2020. The FAA will respond to such submittals on or about January 31, 2020. Interested vendors submitting proposals must do so in accordance with Section L no later than 6:00PM Eastern Time (ET) on February 18, 2020.

All other communications regarding this SIR must be as provided in Section L. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.

For Item 2:

In Section L of the subject SIR, interested parties were invited to submit any questions, comments, or requests for clarifications ( Industry Comments ) to the FAA NISC Contracting Officer by a date certain. Attached to this posting is a copy of all such Industry Comments that were so submitted, together with the FAA's responses thereto. Also attached to this posting is the Business Declaration Form required to be completed and submitted in accordance with the SIR, which Form is referenced in one of the subject Industry Comments.
