Nacelle Covers for Plug25 Project

Background
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is issuing this Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the fabrication and machining of Nacelle Covers for the Plug25 project. The goal of this contract is to procure high-quality nacelle covers made from specific materials to support NASA's mission. This procurement is set aside for small businesses.

Work Details
This is a Brand Name or Equal To requirement for the fabrication and machining of Nacelle Covers for the Plug25 Project. The nacelle covers must be constructed from .063” Thick 316 Stainless Steel in accordance with ASTM A240 standards. The following details are specified:
- Quantity: 2 Nacelle Covers
- Drawing Number: 240901MRA112
- Quality Assurance: Mill Test Reports and Certificates of Conformance are required for all materials and any special processes, with documentation to be delivered alongside the hardware.
- Scope of Work includes:
1) Fabricating
2) Machining
3) Inspection/Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
4) Materials
- Inspections: A 100% Dimensional Inspection is required for all dimensions shown on drawings, with documentation to be delivered with hardware.
- Weekly status updates with pictures are required throughout the project.

Period of Performance
The requested delivery date for the nacelle covers is June 18th, 2025.

Place of Performance
The products will be delivered to NASA John H. Glenn Research Center, Building 50 Room Shop, 21000 Brookpark Road, Cleveland, OH 44135.
