Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is soliciting for the repair requirement of the LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine (MGT) High Pressure Turbine (HPT) Stage 1 Blades, Stage 2 Blades, Stage 1 Nozzles, and Stage 2 Nozzles for the Single Shank Turbine (SST) configurations on behalf of the NAVSEA05Z 2SCOG Program.

The Blades & Nozzles to be repaired are critical to the operation of the main propulsion boilers and turbines of the LM2500 MGT SST, which is utilized by the US Navy as the main propulsion gas turbine engine aboard CG-27, DDG-51 and LCS-2 class ships.

The aforementioned Blades and Nozzles must be repaired to ensure that the 2SCOG program does not stock out of available ready-for-issue (RFI) assets. The potential awardee will be responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements that shall be specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Background
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is responsible for providing gas turbine engine life cycle and engineering support for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. The contract is for the repair requirement of the LM2500 Marine Gas Turbine (MGT) High Pressure Turbine (HPT) Stage 1 Blades, Stage 2 Blades, Stage 1 Nozzles, and Stage 2 Nozzles for the Single Shank Turbine (SST) configurations on behalf of the NAVSEA05Z 2SCOG Program. Work Details
The contractor is required to perform inspection and evaluation of all US Navy provided LM2500 components for serviceability. This includes inspection and evaluation of all components for each year over a period of five years. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for performing repairs and coating (Platinum Aluminide) in accordance with PWS Section 3.0 for SST HPT Stage 1 Nozzles, SST HPT Stage 1 Blades, SST HPT Stage 2 Nozzles, and SST HPT Stage 2 Blades.

Period of Performance
The contract includes multiple tasks to be performed over a period of five years from Year 1 to Year 5.

Place of Performance
Performance will take place at the contractor's facility.
