Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is issuing this solicitation for furniture installation, storage, and moving services for the El Paso Veterans Affairs Health Care System (EPVAHCS). The mission of the VA is to provide high-quality care to veterans. This contract aims to support that mission by ensuring efficient management of furniture assets across various facilities. The contract includes a base year and four option years, allowing for flexibility in service provision based on demand.

Work Details
The contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, and trucks necessary for the pickup, moving, installation, and storage of complex furniture systems and freestanding furniture. Specific tasks include:

1. Pickup and inventory management of multi-manufacturer systems furniture (e.g., Haworth, Herman Miller).
2. Moving services for approximately 38,400 square feet of furniture.
3. Storage services for 2,500 square feet of inventory.
4. Providing quotes for service requests that will be evaluated and approved by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
5. Maintaining an up-to-date inventory database accessible to both VA personnel and contractor personnel.
6. Unpacking and disposing of packaging materials while adhering to disposal regulations.
7. Ensuring all workspaces are left clean after services are completed.

Period of Performance
The contract has a base ordering period from December 31, 2024, to December 30, 2025, with four additional option years extending through December 30, 2029.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at various locations including:

- EPVAHCS at 5001 N. Piedras Street, El Paso, TX 79930
- Multiple Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in El Paso and Las Cruces
- Administrative Facilities at Fort Bliss.
