Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice Page 3 of 4 Sources Sought Notice *= Required Field Sources Sought Notice Page 1 of 4 DESCRIPTION Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice Page 4 of 4 Page 4 of 4 Sources Sought Notice Sources Sought Notice Page 1 of 4 Page 1 of Sources Sought Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources for the following procurement: Security Camera Equipment & Installation SCOPE OF WORK: The purpose of this Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is to provide comprehensive installation services for a security system, including camera installation, access control systems, and network video recorder (NVR) setup. The selected vendor must be capable of delivering full contract support immediately upon the award of the resulting order. The vendor will ensure the complete installation and configuration of all components, including all necessary parts and labor. See Statement of Work (Draft). NCO 17 is seeking sources that have the capability of providing these services. Firms that can provide these services are encouraged to respond to the sources sought notice by contacting the point of contact. Capable firms must respond to the POC no later than 1PM CST on March 14, 2025, to be considered. Interested firms must identify their company name, SAM UEI number, socioeconomic category, and are asked to provide a capabilities statement with their response. This notice is NOT a formal request for quote or proposals. No formal solicitation document exists currently. The information in this notice is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. No contract will be awarded from this notice. The acquisition strategy will be decided based on responses and other market research efforts. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or cost incurred in response to this announcement shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor and will not be reimbursed by the Government. Background
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 17, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 17 is seeking sources for the procurement of security camera equipment and installation services.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and monitoring capabilities of VA facilities through a modern security system.

Work Details
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive installation services for a security system, which includes:
- Installation of various types of cameras (single-lens, dual-lens, quad-lens) and necessary materials such as CAT6 plenum cabling.
- Installation of access control systems including card readers, composite cables, mag locks, electrical strikes, motion sensors, and door contacts.
- Installation of a Network Video Recorder (NVR) including specific models like ADVER64R5DK 64 TB NVR and ADVER06N0NP16G.
- The contractor must ensure all equipment is new and meets manufacturer specifications.
- Compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Laws is required.
- The contractor must provide regular progress updates every two days during the installation process and notify the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for final review upon completion.

Period of Performance
The contract work is expected to be completed within one week from the date of the work order or notification to proceed.
