Background
The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of HVAC units at the Cottonwood Cove Entrance Station within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The goal of this contract is to enhance the facility's climate control systems, ensuring comfort and operational efficiency. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for replacing five ductless mini-split HVAC units at the Cottonwood Cove Entrance Station and Satellite Station. The specific tasks include:
- Installation of four 1-1/2 ton ceiling-mounted cassette mini-split heat pumps.
- Installation of one 1-ton wall-mounted mini-split air conditioning unit.
- All work must comply with the specifications outlined in Attachment 1 of the solicitation. The contractor must also provide any required performance and payment bonds within ten calendar days after award.

Period of Performance
The contract performance period is from September 27, 2024, to December 27, 2024. The contractor shall begin work within ten calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete all tasks within ninety calendar days.

Place of Performance
The construction work will take place at the Cottonwood Cove Entrance Station located on Cottonwood Cove Rd, Searchlight, NV 89046.
