Background
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has a requirement for janitorial services at their Mount Dora, FL office located at 3731 Lake Center Dr.

The goal of this contract is to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the facility, which supports the agency's mission in plant health inspection.

Work Details
The contractor will provide janitorial services on a weekly basis, specifically after 4:30 PM EST, for a total of 12 months per year.

The services include:

**Weekly Duties for Offices:**
- Dusting desks, chairs, tables, and wall hangings;
- Cleaning computers, keyboards, copiers, fax machines;
- Sanitizing phones;
- Emptying trash containers and replacing liners (supplied by USDA);
- Sweeping and mopping tile floors;
- Vacuuming carpeted areas;
- Dusting/wiping vents and baseboards;
- Clearing cobwebs from walls and ceilings;
- Wiping down doors and light switches.

**Restroom Duties:**
- Sanitizing sinks, toilets, and fixtures with disinfectant;
- Wiping wall areas around sinks and toilet dispensers;
- Cleaning glass and mirrors;
- Emptying trash and replacing liners;
- Wiping down doors and light switches;
- Sweeping and mopping floors.

**Windows and Glass Doors:**
- Washing inside and outside as needed;
- Removing cobwebs, dust, and bugs from windowsills;
- Dusting blinds.

**Annual Duties** include shampooing all carpets: pre-treating soiled areas followed by machine cleaning.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base year is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025. There are four option years following this period.

The contract will be performed at USDA APHIS PPQ located at 3731 Lake Center Dr., Mt Dora, FL 32757.
