Background
The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Knox is issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide boxed meals for applicants processing through the Montgomery Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).

The MEPS is located at 705 McDonald St. Montgomery, AL 36114. This contract is aimed at ensuring that applicants have access to meals during their processing period, which aligns with the agency's mission to support military recruitment and readiness.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide boxed meals for applicants processing through the Montgomery MEPS.

The contractor must ensure that all food products are sourced from an approved food preparation facility, which must pass a Veterinary Service Food Protection Audit as per AR 40-657. The successful offeror is responsible for coordinating with the MICC - Knox to schedule this audit or obtain local approval of their food preparation facility prior to contract award. Failure to obtain such approval will result in ineligibility for the award.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for this contract will be from 1 May 2025 or the date of contract award, whichever is later, through 30 April 2026, with two one-year option periods available.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the Montgomery Military Entrance Processing Station located at 705 McDonald St. Montgomery, AL 36114.
