Background
The Mid-Atlantic Service Unit (MASU) aims to enhance the physical, mental, and spiritual health of the Native American population in its geographic area. This mission is executed through the development of Direct Care Services and the administration of the Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) program.

The current acquisition seeks to support MASU's transition to direct care services by establishing two comprehensive health care clinics for seven newly federally recognized tribes. This specific contracting action is focused on procuring and installing a WiFi Network for the Monacan Health Center facility.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase and installation of a turnkey WiFi network at the Monacan Health Center. The network must include a switch, firewall, and access points compliant with Indian Health Service (IHS) and Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requirements.

Key tasks include:
1. Installation of a Cisco switch or an equivalent approved by NAS DIRM.
2. Ensuring that the WiFi network is for internal use only, processing Personally Identifiable Information/Personal Health Information (PII/PHI) while protecting against unauthorized access.
3. Compliance with IHS, DHHS, and NIST guidance as outlined in the scope of work.
4. Adherence to security standards including IHS DIS SOP-09-36, FIPS PUB 140 series for cryptographic modules, and current IEEE 802.11 standards.
5. Conducting periodic WLAN scanning to identify unauthorized access points.
6. Implementing data filtering through appropriate devices like firewalls for data in transit between WLAN and wired LAN.
7. Maintaining an inventory of access points with static IP addresses assigned to them.
8. Ensuring encryption using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithms validated under NIST requirements.
