Background
The Mexican Fruit Fly (MexFly) Rearing Facility has been rearing fruit flies (Anastrepha ludens) in the Rio Grande Valley for decades. The current production of pupae is set at 100 million pupae per week.

Fiberglass trays are essential throughout the rearing facility for infesting diet with eggs, growing larvae, and holding pupae during various life stages. These trays must withstand high-capacity usage and cleaning chemicals used for sanitation, as no other product has been evaluated as effective as these fiberglass trays.

Work Details
The contract requires the procurement of molded fiberglass trays to be used in the rearing of the Mexican fruit fly. The specifications include:
- Model: #805-508 (white), ventilated stacking tray with 4 dropped sides.
- Dimensions: 30 7/8” x 15 7/8” x 2 7/8” (inches).
- Quantity: 500 trays to be delivered FOB destination.
- The product must be free of pesticide/chemical residues that could adversely affect fruit fly production.

Period of Performance
