The United States Forest Service has identified a need for limited grounds maintenance as well as snow plowing and snow shoveling at the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory and National Technology Development Program Complex, Located at:

Fire Sciences Laboratory (FiSL)

5775 US Highway 10 West

Missoula, MT 59801

And:

National Technology Development Center (NTDP)

5785 US Highway 10 West

Missoula, MT 59808

as specified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW).

A site visit will be held on 12/20/23 at 10 am to set up a visit please contact Penny Bertram via email at penny.m.bertram@usda.gov

Any and all questions must be submitted in writing via email to Rochelle Infante at Rochelle.Infante@usda.gov prior to 12 pm on 12/27/2023. The government reserves the right to answer only questions not addressed in the current solicitation. All answers shall be posted on line in a revision of this announcement so as to not give any one company preference over another.

***Question: Is there a set number of plows we are basing our quotes off of per month?

Answer: Your quote should be based off of a flat fee for plowing each month as per the line item in the solicitation.

Background
The United States Forest Service has identified a need for limited grounds maintenance as well as snow plowing and snow shoveling at the Missoula Fire Sciences Laboratory and National Technology Development Program Complex. The agency is located at 5775 US Highway 10 West, Missoula, MT 59801 and 5785 US Highway 10 West, Missoula, MT 59808. The solicitation includes a site visit on 12/20/24 at 10 am.

Work Details
The work to be completed under the contract includes grounds maintenance, snow plowing, snow shoveling, and deicing services. The tasks include lot sweeping in spring, irrigation system winterization, weed control application, and snow plowing from November 1 through March 31. Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is from 01/02/2024 to 12/30/2028.
