Missile Defense Agency - Multiple Authority Announcement

Background
The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) is establishing its first Multiple Authority Announcement (MAA) to facilitate a competitive approach for acquiring disruptive technologies and rapid capability development from non-traditional sources. This announcement serves as a versatile vehicle for MDA and Department of Defense (DoD) entities to pursue various types of non-traditional acquisitions, including Broad Agency Announcements (BAA), Commercial Solutions Openings (CSO), Other Transaction Agreements (OTA), Procurement for Experimental Purposes (PEP), and Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA).

The MDA's mission is to develop and field an integrated, layered Missile Defense System to protect the U.S. and its allies from advanced missile threats.

Work Details
The MAA process consolidates several solicitation authorities under one overarching announcement. Individual solicitations will be released as specific areas of need, capability gaps, or technical objectives are identified.
